Velmer Street Project

Ward 6, Community Center and Playground, is excited to share that a new indoor recreational facility will soon be coming to the DeQuincy community! The facility is planned for the Velmer Street complex and will provide expanded opportunities for athletics and activities for residents of all ages.
 
We are currently working closely with the architect, the Parish, and the Board to finalize the details of this project. As plans are completed, we will provide more specific updates to keep the public informed.
